As Associate Portfolio Manager, Matthew implements the firm's investment philosophy and portfolio management process. Matthew has more than 15 years of industry experience in a variety of roles that include investment counselling, developing wealth management programs, providing retirement planning support and advising on tax issues. Matthew has a Bachelor of Commerce degree (Major in Finance) from Concordia University and is a holder of the Chartered Financial Analyst designation and the Certified Financial Planner designation, as well as a Fellow of the Canadian Securities Institute. Through the Canadian Securities Institute, Matthew completed the Derivatives Program and is accredited as a Canadian Investment Manager and a Financial Management Advisor. Matthew played both junior hockey and elite level soccer and continues to have a passion for hockey, soccer and CFL football. Matthew and his spouse reside in Mississauga and have three young daughters.
